West Michigan Wednesday: “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “Santa’s Rockin’ Christmas Eve” at Central Park Players

One of the things I love most about my home is the location! I love living in West Michigan and enjoy many activities around town. I wanted to create a series that explores some of the great things that this area has to offer.

West Michigan Wednesday

If you are looking for something to get you into the holiday spirit this weekend, look no further! Central Park Players opens their family friendly double feature this weekend in Grand Haven. The evening will open with “Santa’s Rockin’ Christmas Eve” followed by a short intermission and closing with “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” As always, here is the blurb from the website:

“Five Performances: December 4-6 @7:30 PM, December 6-7 @2:00 PM – At the Lakeshore Middle School Auditorium

Don’t touch that dial! You won’t want to miss this incredible 40-minute TV variety show, Santa’s Rockin’ Christmas Eve. Everyone will be performing a special number, including The Mistletones, Suzy and the Snowflakes, the Reindeer, the Elves, Mrs. Claus, and yes, of course, Santa himself! It’s an evening of entertainment and fun, complete with staging notes and two commercials.

The classic animated television special, A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS comes to life in this faithful stage adaptation where Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the other Peanuts grapple with the real meaning of Christmas.”

Also, I am playing Lucy in the production of “A Charlie Brown Christmas!” It has been so much fun bringing these classic characters to life! Rachel from Rachel Kaye Photography stopped by a rehearsal last week and snapped some fun shots. She was so kind and let me share a few sneak peaks with you today!!
